Lock-In Information

The Annual Choir Lock-In is this Friday-Saturday, September 7-8. The doors open at 10pm at the main campus choir room entrance (behind the band trailer) and we close for admission at midnight. But once you walk into the choir room, you cannot leave without an adult supervision.

FAQs

How much does it cost to get into the lock-in?
It’s FREE if you have paid a partial payment of the choir fee ($35) or you have paid in full ($100) on Friday, September 7 in class or at the door.

What if I forget to pay my choir fee that day?
You will need to bring $5 at the door for your admission to the lock-in.

Can my mom/dad chaperone?
YES. The chaperones are free of charge, and they must be a parent of a current student enrolled in the ORHS Choir program. Please contact Ms. Flores or Mr. Rabon if you would like to chaperone – the more, the merrier! Sorry, older siblings or former ORHS Choir students are not allowed.

What type of activities happen at the ORHS Choir lock-in?
We utilize most of the fine arts wing. In the choir room, we will have food and music. In the band hall, we will have students bring in their gaming systems and have a lot of TVs set up to play video games. Bring your own cords if you are bringing your system. In the orchestra room, we will be playing movies all night. At around 3am, we bring everyone into the orchestra room and play the movie that got the most votes and we watch it until about 5-5:30am. Then we have orange juice and donuts in the morning and you MUST be picked up by no later than 6am! The directors and chaperons need their rest too, so please be mindful of that and be picked up by 6am.
